Enjoy a weekend in a great location with all meals and lodging included. Couples will stay at the Windsor Hotel, a grand 1892 historic hotel with an open three-tier atrium lobby of carved golden oak, marble floors, and chandeliers in the heart of Americus. Step outside the hotel and enjoy exploring the surrounding shops, restaurants and other historic landmarks like the Rylander Theatre during your stay. Nearby attractions also include Plains, the hometown of the 39th President, Jimmy Carter; Lake Blackshear which offers golfing, boating and fishing; and the Andersonville Civil War Village and National Historic Site.
Objectives of the Conference:
• To provide an enjoyable and useful experience for each participating couple.
• To learn the economic and service benefits of cooperatives; how they differ from other businesses and why that difference benefits you and your community.
• To network with leaders of cooperatives and meet other couples from across the state.
• To exchange and discuss ideas with other couples and cooperative leaders
• To strengthen your relationships with the cooperatives with which you do business.
