We select two high school students (junior or senior year) who will receive a full-expense paid trip to Washington, DC. This inspiring, week-long leadership trip offers participants the opportunity to experience U.S government and U.S. history first-hand while having fun, making new friends, and developing leadership skills.
Eligible participants: Must be a junior or graduating senior for the 2024-2025 school year in a participating public/private school system or home school student in our service territory regardless of electrical utility provider. * Irwin EMC reserves the right to allow students who attend school outside our service territory to apply if their parents/guardians are members in good standing with Irwin EMC.
Winners of the contest must be available to attend the Washington Youth Tour June 13-20, 2025, and agree to the terms and conditions if selected. Additionally, any student who has previously won the Washington Youth Tour is not eligible to enter the contest a second time.
