Kelly Wynn

Hello, I'm Kelly Wynn, and I believe I'm an excellent candidate for the Irwin EMC Board of Directors. I've called Irwin County my home since the day I was born in 1962, and I've been deeply involved in the community ever since. My wife, Sheila, has worked with Irwin County School Systems as a teacher at the high school for 24 years. We have raised our family here in Irwin County. We have a daughter, Candice (deceased), and two sons, Clae and Chris. Both sons are currently living in and raising their families in Irwin County as well.  As the owner of Wynn Farms and Wynn Brothers Inc. in Ocilla, Georgia since 1989, I have developed a unique set of qualifications for this role. Here are some key reasons why I would be a great fit: 1. Local Roots: my lifelong connection to Irwin County means I have a deep understanding of the community's needs and priorities; 2. Business Expertise: with over three decades of experience as a business owner, I'm well-versed in financial management and strategic decision-making; 3. Leadership Skills: my years of managing Wynn Brothers Inc. have honed my leadership abilities, which can be a valuable asset on the board; 4. Community Engagement: I've actively participated in local organizations and events, demonstrating my dedication to the community's well-being.  I'm excited about the opportunity to contribute to the Irwin EMC Board of Directors and help shape the future of our region's energy services.
