David Chaney
My name is David Chaney and I am running for re-election as a Board Member of Irwin EMC. I am a Fitzgerald/Ben Hill County resident and a member of Irwin EMC.
My wife, Sandra, and I have been married for 43 years and we have two children, Tiffany Coleman and John Mark Chaney, and six grandchildren. I was born in Ocilla to J.T. and Daisy Chaney.
Growing up in Irwin County, I graduated from Irwin County High School in 1978. I moved to Fitzgerald/Ben Hill County in 1980. I spent 26 years in management in the mobile home industry before purchasing Walker Printing Company in 2007.
My family and I are members of Crossview Baptist Church where I currently serve as Vice Chairman of the Deacon Board and have served as a Deacon and Sunday School Director. I have served as Chairman of the Deacon Board, Properties Committee and Personnel Committee. Because I understand their importance and significance in our community, I am an avid supporter of local businesses, education, athletics and charitable organizations.
Irwin EMC is a vital organization in our community. As in the past, I will continue to be a voice for all members. I will always be fair and make informed decisions.
